Anyways, It's taken me some time and now I'm finally getting around to updating my blog.

We had a great time in Ogden, Utah. We arrived on a Wednesday evening and stayed with my best friend from good 'ol Mesa High, and beyond, Amy Holden and her beautiful family. They are all so wonderful and so much fun to be around. We are so grateful to them for making our family vaca so awesome!

We also got to meet Sweet Baby Sydney for the first time!

Jens took Briggs and Myself skiing for our first times. Poor guy. He spent the day giving us directions, helping us up, putting our skis back on, watching us both throw fits, our skis a few times, and crying on the bunny hill. I just have to say, I love my husband. He was very patient with us, so, we let him go on his own for a while and he had a good time. It was a beautiful day. The mountains looked fake.....the lodge and the food was excellent.


Friday, we took all the kids to the snow. We found a good hill. We had fun climbing, sledding, throwing, eating (eryn jane), and building snow men out of, the snow. Eryn thought that Santa was going to come see us while we were there?




Friday evening we attended Jens's missionary reunion. It's the third reunion we've attended, but the first we've brought the kids to. It was good to see everyone again. The cool thing about it is that I feel like they're my friends as well. From all the stories Jens has told me over the years and from the times I've been able to meet and visit with them and their families at the reunions.

We spent Saturday hanging out with Amy and her family. We enjoyed watching Allie tear up and down the soccer field. That girl is fast and aggressive. Way to Go! Allie!

We went to dinner with Amy, Joe and Amy's Dad Reed. It was so much fun, we laughed a lot and then laughed a lot more when we saw Blades of Glory. Love that Will Ferrell!
The kids played together all day and were very sad to be parted from all their fun! They've built a lasting relationship...we can't wait for them to come and visit us in AZ sometime! Amy, Joe, and kids...we love you, you're always welcome!

We flew home Sunday. We missed our friends the moment we started to drive away, heading for the airport....Good times go by way too quickly.
by the by.....Reagan's Grandma took her to Build-A-Bear for her birthday! She named her new bear Allie!

Eryn Jane was ready to dance. She even smiled for the camera on our way to her "Dance Party" (dance recital). She was so excited. She loves to dance.

Eryn was so proud of her certificate. She was proud of her classmates as well and clapped for each one as they received their own certificates. Great Job Eryn Jane! We're so proud of you!

St. Patty's in Santa Cruz!

We've had Kelli & Jake visiting us since Wednesday and we've had so much fun. Friday we met them in San Francisco, but I forgot my camera! Frustrating! Even so, we had such a great day, I just don't have the pictures to prove it.
We rode the "trolly train", as Eryn Jane calls it. We also visited China Town & Muir Forrest. Today, we drove down to Santa Cruz to see the tide pools.

and then it took us a while to get the sea water and sand off the kids before they got into the car. We drove down the waterfront and drove by the Santa Cruz boardwalk. We were tired and hungry and all we could think of was the goulash sitting in the crock pot at home waiting for us. It was Delish!
I'm so glad Kelli & Jake have been able to come and visit us. I think they've gotten some laughs....especially when Eryn tells Jake where she is every time they play hide and seek. Also from all the funny words Eryn has been saying lately. Like..."ridiculous" and "fabulous"! The kids have really enjoyed having them here, we all have, and we'll be so sad to have to let them go. Thanks for all the laughs and fun,come back soon! We Love You!
We did miss our Katie very much! She partied with some friends this week! We hope she had a great time, but she better promise that next time she'll come see us!!!

another Funny Story...

Does it ever end? I hope not! Reagan's friend, Maddie, from school, came home with Reagan today to play. Eryn wanted to go outside and play with the girls. I asked her, "do you like playing with the girls?" She said, " Yes, it's spectacular!"
It's spectacular? Funny Girl!

Funny Story.....

Eryn Jane is learning new words all the time! She would not be reverent in Primary yesterday, imagine that! Not Eryn Jane. She kept running up and down the middle eisle, I finally got her to come sit with me and she said, "No mom, I'm Frustrated!" At first I didn't understand what she was saying, I'd never heard her say that before. What Eryn? "Mom, I'm just frustrated, mom!"

More Pictures From Kids Week Off!

Hey! We just got these pictures from our friend Tanya. Friday before last, she, and her sweet baby Hannah, took us down to Santa Cruz. We ate lunch at her sister's home, Melissa. It was really great to meet her. She has a beautiful home and two gorgeous dauthers. Then we went to see the tide pools at Natural Bridges. It was very cool. We were hoping to see some starfish and crabs, but it was still awesome. We saw a lot of molluks, anemities, snails, etc. The kids had so much fun. We really want to go back with Daddy and maybe hit the boardwalk that's nearby.

A Day At The Children's Museum

The kids have this whole week off of school so we've been trying to fill up the week with lots of fun that doesn't include spending 24/7 infront of the TV, playstation, and computer. So, we went to the Children's Discovery Museum. It's very close to our home and the kids loved it so much, we decided to get a season pass. Their favorite part was the Waterworks. We spent most of our time there, but next time, we'll have to bring a change of clothes for Eryn Jane. She had a little too much fun.
