Happy Birthday Briggsy!

Briggs hosted a "Game Night" birthday party tonight wearing his new favorite attire, Thank you Oma! This boy will never wear a plain winter hat, no matter how much his Mom begs him (it's cold in the mornings waiting for the bus!) But, he's worn this Patriots cap, along with his new Jersey, all day long! We think he looks pretty cute!

Cheers To The New Year!

Well......I just spent about 45 minutes writing a new blog, all about Christmas time and New Years and all that good stuff. Then Jens gave me a call and kicked me off the internet. For some stupid reason ( sorry, stupid is not a very nice word, but there are worse things I could say ) it wouldn't save my blog and it deleted. Sometimes this "blogger" site is really annoying!
So.....to sum up Christmas and New Years and all that good stuff...we had a wonderful Holiday! Fun was had by all!
I really want to thank our family in AZ for showing us such a good time. And, thank you Beechers for sharing your home and time and food with us! We had a lot of fun! Thanks to everyone for the gifts and the love and time and support! We love you all so much and miss you much already!

Now we're all back home, safe and sound and back into our routines (or at least trying to be). Briggs has a birthday coming up soon and is very excited about that. Thanks again to everyone! Happy New Year and Have An Awesome 2007! We Love You!

"All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth"

Gee if I could only have my two front teeth.......then I could wisth and Merry Christhmasth!

She lost her second front tooth a couple of weeks ago. I've been wanting to post the news for all that time and just now am getting around to it. What a big girl Reagan is getting to be. She, along with Briggs and Eryn Jane, are so excited for Christmas. Briggs told me today that, " this is going to be the best Christmas Ever! I can feel it! ". We've had lots of fun things to do during the holidays..... Shopping, shopping and more shopping...... christmas parties at the church, school and at the Tech Museum in downtown San Jose. Toy drives, christmas crafts and lots of popcorn and hot cocoa (the kids' favorite treat). Making more treats, delivering them and visiting with friends and neighbors. Recieving treats and christmas cards in the mail.....sending Christmas cards. Seeing Santa Clause and telling him just what we want for Christmas. Feeling the Spirit of Christmas where ever we go, especially in our home, which is the Spirit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, remembering Him....His birth, the atonement and His death......all for us. I think this will be the best Christmas Ever!
We're thinking of all of you this holiday! We're so excited to visit our family and friends in Arizona the week after Christmas! To those we won't be able to see this year......We Love You and Miss You and our thoughts are with you!

One front tooth down, one more to go...

Well, Reagan has had an exciting week. On Monday, she came home from school with one of her bottom teeth in hand and a big gap in her smile. She was so excited. That same excitement was felt, once again, when her Dad helped her pull out another loose tooth this evening. This time, it was one of the big daddy's, a top front tooth. Now the gap has doubled in size, but she still looks beautiful and, is now, sleeping peacefully in her bed dreaming of what the tooth fairy will bring.



We've had a great week. Mom attended parent teacher conferences on Wednesday while the kids played with friends (they had the day off). Both Briggs and Reagan are doing very well in school and mom and dad are very proud of them. Daddy bought his Christmas present, to himself, early this year. A new bike. He picked it up Friday after work and had a great ride on Saturday.



You can read more about that on his cycling blog. Needless to say, he is one happy cycler. Mommy had a fun week shopping for a new church outfit. She was successful and Daddy was happy that Mommy was ready, on time, for church today. We wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. We miss you all very much and can't wait to see you at Christmas time.

Happy 3rd Birthday Eryn Jane!

Happy Halloween!

We hope everyone had a great Halloween. Ours was a five day event....being that we've had some kind of party or festival every day since Friday. We've had a wonderful Halloween. Briggs was the grim reeper and Reagan chose to be, yet, another Disney Princess, this year she was the Little Mermaid. Eryn Jane refused to wear her Pocahontas costume so was a sixties girl at her KAMP group friends party, a fairy princess at the Laurelwood school halloween parade, and a "Girapp" (giraffe) on the actual Halloween Night. She loved trick-or-treating with Daddy, but loved handing out "trick-or-treats" to the kids that came to our door much better. She was very generous!!! Her favorite treat was some black colored play-dough......Mom pshyced about that. Well, now the pictures.......

F.H.E. at the "Pumpkin Patch"

Eryn Jane calls it the "pumpkin catch"! For family night we drove down south a bit to a pumpkin patch in Morgan Hill. We had lots of fun.

and plenty of pumpkins to choose from.

They also rode on the "bumpy" cow ride (as Eryn calls it). Briggs got off and said to the driver, " I thought it would be boring, but it was actually pretty fun!"

as you can see from the picture, Eryn rode in "Elsie". Briggs rode inside one named "Sassafrass". I thought it a bit ironic! He can "sass" pretty good!

They posed it up infront of the cornfield....

and played around on the haystacks. Later that night, back at home, Eryn came up to Mommy and Daddy and said, " Thanks for the cows!" We're assuming it was the cow ride! Needless to say, the cutest kids in all the world had a great time. And so did their parents!

Tonight on Dunford 5 News Update ...

It "finally" happened!!!!!
Reagan Lee lost her first tooth! and she received $1 , we're assuming, for her wonderful patience. Pretty generous tooth fairy! When asked how she felt she relayed how pleased she was with herself that she "didn't even cry," when she saw the blood.

In other news...

Briggs had a wonderful time playing in his first Flag Football game. He hustled and made some fantastic plays. He mad a great pass and was able to grab one of his team opponents flag before the young lad made a touchdown. We are all so happy that Briggs enjoyed it as much as he did. Dad couldn't have been more proud! We were so happy to have the Gazeley's join us to watch his first game. We're so very thankful for their support. During Briggs's time-out he helped Dominic, Carson, Reagan & Eryn learn some plays. Here are some pics...

First Day of School

Eryn was sad that she didn't get to ride on the bus with Briggsy & Reagy.

She was sad all day, I think she really missed them. But, they had a great first week. They like their teachers and don't have much homework, yet! Reagan loves to sport her "Hilary Duff " back pack, Briggs brings home his Science book everyday to read and Eryn keeps mommy going to the gym because she loves to go to "day care" ! Things are starting off quite nicely!
