Today is his first day at school with them on. He was a little nervous.
He looks a little goofy here....his hair is all messed up. He looked a lot better this morning. Hair nice & handsome, all ready to show off the new smile!

brace face...
But, a handsome brace face it is! Yes, Briggs got braces on his top teeth yesterday. He also got a palette expander and a space maintainer on the bottom teeth. He did very well, he was very brave. He's having trouble eating and swallowing and his mouth is a bit sore, but he's been a real trooper and we couldn't be prouder of him. He's also having trouble talking and controlling his saliva. I have to chuckle about it because I remember those days. I had 5 years worth of them. It's crazy to think that now my boy is going through this.

He looks great! At least you got a picture... I tried to put a pic of Kelsea up when hers were first put on and there was no chance of that! Way to go Briggs - the payoff will be so worth it!

Craig is sitting here eating his cold cereal saying, "lucky!" with milk spitting out the sides of his mouth...he doesn't even have braces & has a hard time eating & controlling his saliva. : ))))
we both think you look really cool with your braces. Craig misses you A LOT!
Oh he is a very cute brace face. That first time at school with them on would be hard. Hey Ijust noticed you only have 36 more days left. YAY
Great job Briggs for being so brave. Braces are no fun the first couple of weeks. I can't believe you only have 5 more weeks to go Kristin!!! Time has passed so quickly. I bet you are ready to hold him! Let me kow if you need anything, anytime!
